EEJAD is a multi-sided digital marketplace built for the GCC

Project Summary

EEJAD is a multi-faceted digital platform designed for the GCC region connecting businesses, project owners, skilled professionals, and service seekers in one unified ecosystem.

The platform simplifies how construction, maintenance, marketing, and home services are discovered, managed, and executed. Four distinct user types. Role-based dashboards.

A Logo Built on Purpose

The EEJAD logo was built around three pillars: connection, creation, and trust. The name comes from the Arabic root meaning “to create” or “to bring into existence.”

The mark visually expresses a platform that makes things possible joining people, skills, and opportunity into one coherent ecosystem.
A logo that communicates what the product does before a single word is read.

UI/UX Challenges

Designing EEJAD meant managing a complex ecosystem with four distinct user roles each with different permissions, flows, and expectations. Businesses needed tools to list services and manage projects. Project owners needed to post briefs and receive bids. Skilled workers and service seekers needed clean discovery and communication flows. Balancing all of this in one product, without overwhelming any user type, was the central challenge.

The second challenge was verification and subscription logic. Key actions — appearing in search, accessing projects, posting services — were gated behind profile completion, approval status, and subscription tiers. The UX had to communicate these rules clearly and guide users forward without creating frustration or dead ends.

Scalability was the third constraint. The product needed to run consistently across mobile app, marketing website, user dashboards, and admin panel — all sharing the same design system, navigation logic, and component language.

Solutions & UX Approach

Every user type gets its own onboarding flow, home screen, and dashboard showing only what's relevant to them.

This role-based architecture reduced cognitive load and made it immediately clear what each user could do and what came next.

Instead of hard blocks, we designed a progressive disclosure system.

Completion indicators, status notifications, and contextual prompts guide users through profile requirements, verification steps, and upgrade paths — keeping momentum without frustration at every stage.

A card-based content system was used throughout for projects, services, and profiles. This created visual consistency, improved scannability, and let users compare options at a glance.

Clear CTAs and feedback states support decision-making at every interaction point.
